Oppo Reno 3 Pro Quick Review

Oppo has launched Reno 3 Pro in India on Monday. The company has launched this smartphone at an initial price of Rs 29,990. This price is of 128GB variants. At the same time, the price of 256GB variants has been kept at Rs 32,990. Customers will be able to buy both variants in aural blue, midnight black and sky white color options. We have used this smartphone for some time and now we are going to tell you its quick review.

First of all, let us tell you that this Reno series of Oppo is popular for two things. First its design and second camera. To start with the design, the company launched Oppo Reno 2 in India last August and we called this smartphone the 'most beautiful phone of the year' in our review. In such a situation, we had high expectations about the design from Reno 3 Pro, but this time it could not be completed.

Dual-tone gradient panel has been given in the rear of the new smartphone. Which does not look so attractive. That is, it cannot be called a smartphone of 30 thousand rupees. Its premium feel is completely missing. However, the phone is quite lightweight and slick.

The quad camera setup has been given in the rear panel itself and the camera module looks quite bulging. The home button is in the right side here, while the volume rockers are on the left. The SIM tray is present on the top side here. Type-C port, speaker grill and 3.5mm headphone jack have been given in the bottom of the panel. 

Talking about the display, a 6.7-inch full-HD + (1080x2400) Super AMOLED display has been given, which is quite bright and colors are quite punchy here. However, a similar display was launched here in China with a curved display in December last year. Because right now this phone is giving a very regular phone feel.

Also a big problem is that now a smartphone with a budget of 30 thousand rupees cannot be imagined without a high refresh rate smartphone. Because, Poco has greatly increased the competition by giving 120Hz display in X2. Apart from this, dual-punch hole cutout has been given in the display, here two cameras are available for selfie. One of these cameras is 44MP.

Talking about hardware-software, this new smartphone of the company runs on Android 10 based ColorOS 7 and has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 processor with up to 8GB of RAM. Snapdragon 765G processor has been given in variants launched in China. At the moment, there was no significant lag in running this new smartphone and there was no problem in app switching as well. Now talk about the second feature of this smartphone i.e. the camera, a total of 6 cameras have been given in it. Its primary camera is 64MP. Also, 13MP telephoto camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and 2MP mono camera have been given here. The rear camera has the support of 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. Here are two cameras of 44MP and 2MP for selfie.

This is the world's first 44MP selfie camera phone. We have taken some pictures from all these cameras and directly tell you about the result. Overall primary, astra-wide, depth and macro camera react better in daylight, but the indoor lighting / artificial lighting is not getting the detailing. In low-light photography i.e. night mode, the primary camera is clicking photos properly, but the ultra-wide angle camera is not able to take good photos in low-lighting. However, a slightly better photo can be taken in tripod mode.

Talking about selfie camera, the photo is coming very well. However, after using it for a little more time under different conditions, we will be able to tell about it in a much better way.
