Coolpad Cool 5 Design and Display

Like other phones in the budget segment, the back panel of the Coolpad Cool 5 smartphone is of plastic with a gradient design. This smartphone has been launched in two color variants - Gradient Blue and Midnight Blue. We are reviewing gradient blue color variants. This back panel is glossy with a dual camera set and fingerprint sensor with LED flash. Along with this, CoolPad has been branded in the back.

Talking about front design, here is a display with waterdrop notch. Just above the selfie camera is the earpiece speaker and light ambient sensor. All four of the display have been given slightly thicker badges. The SIM tray is on the left and the power button on the right as well as the volume buttons. The bottom has Type C charger and dual speakers and 3.5mm jack in the top. The design of this phone justifies the price, which is similar to the smartphones in this segment.

Talking about the display, it has a 6.22 inch big HD + display, which has been given TFT IPS display. The resolution of this display is 1520 × 720 pixels and the aspect ratio is 19: 9. The color output and viewing angle of the display are decent. Coolpad is quite bright given in Cool 5 and its visibility in day light is also good. During normal usage, the performance of the phone is decent, multi tasking is also easily done in this phone. Social media and other apps can easily switch between each other. Although the application takes a little time to open, but the good thing is that this phone does not lag in moderate use.

Talking about gaming, you can play games with heavy graphics in a low setting. PUBG Mobile, Asphalt and Free Fire can play games in low graphics. PUBG Mobile Lite runs well in this phone. The Coolpad Cool 5 smartphone is a good choice for general users who are less fond of gaming. Coolpad has launched this smartphone in the segment. The company has launched Coolpad cool 5 smartphone at a price of Rs 7,999. As we said in the beginning, companies in the budget segment equip their phones with many features and offer in aggressive price range. In this phone, users get a large 6.22 inch display and Helio P22 chipset and 4000mAh battery as well as dual camera setup (13MP + 2MP) and 16MP selfie camera sensor in the rear. The performance of this phone is decent but the quality of the camera may have to be compromised.

In such a situation, the buyers have many options in the price range of Rs 8,000. Xiaomi Redmi 8 can be a good choice in this price range. In this phone, users get 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support with better camera.
