 iPhone 12 series 5G

The iPhone 12 series has been a part of the headlines for some time, the news is that Apple will launch the series by the end of this year. We still have to wait for Apple's official statement regarding this. Some reports have revealed that the new iPhone series will get 5G connectivity with the A14 Bionic processor.

Now a well-known tipsster has claimed that only 5.6-inch and 6.1-inch variants of the alleged iPhone 12 will get sub-6GHz 5G connectivity. It has also been said that the 6.1-inch phone of the iPhone 12 Pro and the 6.7-inch variant of the iPhone Pro Max will be equipped with sub-6GHz 5G and mmWave 5G technology.

Noted tipster and tech analyst Jon Prosser shared this information. He also revealed the alleged prices of four iPhone 12 variants last week. Prosser informed that high-end mmWave 5G technology is not being used in the 6.1 inch variant of iPhone 12. For this reason, the phone will cost $ 50 (Rs 3,790) more than the iPhone 11 of the same screen size.

There are mainly two types of 5G technology, which are adopted on a large scale. The first mmWave 5G technology, which gives you higher speed, while sub-6GHz technology is commonly used. However, 5G technology has not yet arrived in India, so the customers who buy this new iPhone 12 will not be affected much.

Information given by Techradar states that the popular network carrier Verizon company in the US uses mmWave 5G technology. But on the same network, the iPhone 12 phone does not work with 5G connectivity. Apart from this, the report also said that no network carrier in the UK uses mmWave 5G technology, so the people who are planning to buy the iPhone 12 there will not be affected.

Apart from this, 6.1 inch variants of iPhone 12 Pro and 6.7 inch variants of iPhone 12 Pro Max will have the support of both sub-6GHz 5G and mmWave 5G technology. Those who are thinking of buying Pro and Max variants of iPhone, will not have to face any problem regarding 5G connectivity.

As we mentioned earlier, Apple has not yet announced the launch of the iPhone 12 series, so all such information could also be a rumor. Talking about the price, last week Prosser gave information that the entry-level iPhone 12 will be priced at $ 649 (about Rs 49,100), and the iPhone Pro Max 6.7 variant will be priced at $ 1,099 (about Rs 83,200).
